This is a beautifully worn trestle-style work table or change table with a painted green x-frame base. The top and base are separate pieces-- the top has rails that slide onto the base and hold it in place. The edges of the top are worn smooth and round. Discoloration is present on the top as this table was clearly used in a workshop of some kind. The color of the painted base is a Classic Kelly green or clover green. This piece was sourced in France and dates to the 1850s.
