I Rest My Case by Michael Godard

I was in court during a deposition and the opposing counsel got really pissed off and threw a briefcase across the room.  I thought it was so hilarious, I painted “I Rest my Case.”  On the rim of the glass, we see the olive that has lost his case tossing it into the martini out of frustration. The victor olive is kicked back behind the gavel. The scale of justice is blown into the stem of the glass.  ~M.G.
